Founded by Alex McCulloch and Nick Cassio, the firm has completed three acquisitions since 2020 across the physical security, manufacturing, and railway construction sectors.

Alex McCulloch
Co-Founder
Alex McCulloch is the Co-Founder Laurier Capital, working closely with leadership teams across the portfolio to strengthen operations, drive revenue growth, and support sustainable performance. With an active role in each of Laurier’s operating companies, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to helping managers refine their decision-making and build effective teams.
Alex also leads the firm’s sourcing and evaluation of new acquisition opportunities, using his operational insight to identify strong businesses and capable leadership.
Nick Cassio, CPA
Co-Founder
Nick Cassio is the Co-Founder and CFO of Laurier Capital, overseeing financial strategy and performance across the firm’s portfolio. A designated CPA, Nick brings strong financial discipline and analytical expertise to each of Laurier’s operating companies. He partners closely with management teams to strengthen financial reporting, improve cash flow management, and support data-driven decision-making.
Nick also plays a key role in evaluating new acquisitions, ensuring each opportunity aligns with Laurier’s long-term growth objectives.
